I’m writing a science fantasy novel with a working title of A Prince of the Demonkin. It explores anxiety and the effect that a mechanical implant of various mental ailments can have, and is set in a many worlds environment.

Jack, the Prince of the title, is lost in our world, a world far away from the lands of his fathers, and is docilized. This makes him forget, and exacerbates his anxious thoughts. How does he overcome this, return to his world, and defeat the man who had been his greatest childhood friend before betraying him? And can he regain the love of the woman who is now married to his onetime lord? Or could he?
